Wedding invitations should go out one month before your wedding date. This gives the mail carriers time to get them delivered. It is early enough to inform your potential guests but not too early that they may forget the wedding date. One option you may want to consider is whether to send out R.S.V.P.’s. RSVP’s are a way to plan for your meals at a reception and also to plan to accommodate your guests in other ways. When sending out invitations, have a set roll of who is to get an invitation. Make sure the amount of people invited for the Groom is pretty even with the amount of people invited for the Bride. You may want to give the Groom’s mother a set number of guests and have her to help decide who to invite from his family and friends. She will have addresses for these people and thus make the process easier for you.
