One thing many brides do is go way overboard with their decorations. You can have an elaborate wedding without breaking the bank with an elaborate amount of money. When deciding to buy decorations ask yourself what could be done with that item after the wedding. If your answer is “nothing” then it is nothing but a waste of money. The amount of decorations that can be rented or borrowed is outrageous. A good idea is to choose someone in your wedding party who knows the same people you know, to be in charge of returning any borrowed items after the wedding since you will be on your honeymoon and will not want to have that responsibility on your mind at that time. You can rent everything from aisle runners to center pieces. Another option to consider is to check with your venue to see what they provide as decorations. You will be surprised at how much there is to offer from your venue. Also, you need to check and see what all your venue will allow. For instance, some venues do not allow open flames for insurance purposes. Never ever forget your budget while planning your wedding. The last thing you want to do is start your marriage off in debt.
